I wonder what year this was?

Such a shame that DOWN TO LOVE TOWN didn't become the big hit it deserved to be. The clubs certainly recognized its caliber and did their part in supporting it . [[ #1 record) Motown did right by pressing it on a 12" , that helped it succeed in the disco circuit, but they dropped the ball getting it radio play. #93 on the Soul chart? !!!!
