Wow... Since this just came up recently here... I just happened across this interview with the legendary bassist Joe Osborn RIP...the OTHER Wrecking Crew bassist [[with perhaps the biggest discography in pop music) and he's asked about the Carol Kaye / Jamerson Motown controversy... Joe is a legend and a reputed nice all around guy...Discovered the Carpenters and played virtually every genre... Would love to hear the full interview, loved when he said it was clear to everyone else who played bass on these songs except her. I agree too bad as she was one of the greats on bass
