I hope somebody can help me please.
I have an old tape cassette comprising RCA 45s played on the Northern Soul scene.
It's a White female poppy dancer.
And the words "for the folk in love" are used in a way that it would suggest it is the title.
Thanks

What’s a poppy dancer?

I'd suggest an up tempo light weight track, not really thought of as 'soul music' , almost always a White artist ,mostly female, very catchy tune, but played on the NS scene...

Sorry, "]Navy Blue "doesn't mean anything to me
I thought her name might relate to a NS tune.
