They were one of my favorite bands of the 70s. I'm sorry to hear this. Rest in peace Mickey and thanks man.

Sorry to hear about this. I think Mickey Atkins only played with Funkadelic for a brief time when they were starting out [[and is credited with playing keyboards on their debut LP). RIP Mickey.
