Hi All,
I saw the discussion of the 'Fuck You' cover and video Dennis did back in February, and wanted to share the details of his upcoming album. It's a self titled record which is going to be out on Strut on April 26th. The cover references the awesome shot for his Electric Coffey album. Material on the album is made up of original instrumentals, and several new cover versions of tracks on which Dennis originally appeared. Lots of great guests, including Mayer Hawthorne, Mick from The Dirtbombs, Rachel from Detroit Cobras, Kings Go Forth, etc. Check out the tracklist below, as well as a link to a mix House Shoes just put together which features three of the new album's tracks.
We're also doing a super limited 7" for Record Store Day w/ a Steinski remix, and Dennis will be performing at UHF Records as part of the Record Store Day celebration. Hope some of you can make it by for the celebration!
