The Temptations Revue Featuring Nate Evans

IMHO, Nate Evans' Temptations Revue sounds closer to the original Temptations, than Big O's Temptations.

I know I'm treading on sacred ground...

Truth be told, Dennis Edwards, Glenn Leonard, and Richard Street's Temptations Revues and some of The Temptations' tribute groups featuring Larry Johnson and others, could and would give Big O's Tempts a run for their money!

I agree Arr&Bee, at least The Temptations as we know them.

I've said all along that Otis Williams is a savvy businessman with plenty of street smarts to boot. He had to be street-smart to keep the ever changing Tempts personnel front and center in both the media and the fans eyes for more than 60 years!

Nat used to be in the Impressions at one time

I knew he credits David Ruffin as one of his mentors and sang background for The Voices aka Ruffin, Kendricks, & Edwards.

However, I discovered yesterday, in the YouTube comments that Nate was once the lead vocalist for the Impressions.

Seems Nate has been around for a long time. I also read in the comments that he is technically a Temptation, 'cuz Otis summoned him as a stand-in Tempt on several occasions.

I've just noticed in addition to Nate Evans, David Sea is singing background for The Three voices aka Ruffin, Kendricks, & Edwards. Sea was also a lead vocalist with Dennis Edwards' Temptations.
