At work and MJ's "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" is playing; heard this song a thousand times before but today it hits me: is this a reworking of Diana's "Home" from THE WIZ?

Not in lyrics of course, but listen to them both and see if you hear what I hear.

I remember a friend remarking the same when IJCSLY was released. I hear an influence for sure.

I've sometimes thought that 1. Michael may have had Diana in mind with this song and 2. This song might have been a good duet for the two, recorded or in a live performance.
