As many times as I have heard this Madonna classic, I have never been quite clear about something that I hear in the background. Throughout the song there is this "noise" that repeats frequently.
It could be a person's voice or it could be some mechanically-created sound, but what it REALLY sounds like is a puppy yipping in the background. I could not duplicate it on here if I had to!
If it is indeed a dog, it kind of fits into the theme of the song. After all a woman who wants diamonds and furs and all those other "material" things would also be likely to have a dog that she carries around everywhere she goes.
So what say you experts? Bow wow or no bow wow?
