I thought Motown blew a potential hit when the Spinners originally did this. I didn't know The Supremes also did this. Sounds VERY good! The middle break here reminds me of break in the middle of "Up The Ladder To The Roof"

absolutely should have been the follow up to Stoned Love

I love Time To Break Down but it might be more of an "album" song rather than a 45. perhaps it could have been the flip to Together.

No, "It's Time to Break Down" was too "Adult" for Top 40 radio in 1970 and it was years before the "Quiet Storm" format came into being.

^ yeah i agree. fans love that song but it wouldn't really have fit well into a 2 1/2 min single release
