What could've been. There have been times I've viewed his story and every time I came to the same conclusion:

March 8, 1982 shouldn't have happened. It just shouldn't have. He was gonna become the KING of soul music when he had his accident. He was well on his way too. UGH.

Life is a mutha, ain't it? One of the greatest singers of all time, bar none.

The accident occurred just 3 weeks or so after this concert. Who knows how he would have progressed had fate not cruely stepped in. Very sad.
