Hi guys,
Hoping someone can confirm for me...
I've been listening to Marvin & Tammi this morning and upon listening to "That's How It Is [[Since You've Been Gone)", I seem to have a version by the Marvelettes, with Wanda on lead, stuck in my head. However, I can't seem to find their version. I could have sworn I remember hearing a Marvelettes version of this song? Or am I just going out of my head? :)

I remember that there is a Tammi solo version on her 2 CD set, so maybe I am getting mixed up with that version.

Don’t be getting my hopes up like that, Carlo! LOL I’m all but positive everything from the Marvelettes have been released.

There's not one listed on DFTMC for the Marvelettes.

The Marvelettes - "A Need For Love"

Some people have a need to cry
Some need to feel important inside
Some need to feel ten feet tall
But I have words, we evolve

Because I, I've got a need for love
A need to be kissed and hugged
I need someone to love me and hold me
So I won't have, have to be lonely

Without love, I can't exist, no no
It's been like this ever since
You've been gone
But my love still lingers on

Oh, said that I, I've got a need for love
Said that I, I need to be kissed and hugged
Know that I need, needed someone to love me and hold me
So I won't have, have to be lonely
Oh, said that I, I've got a need for love
Said that I, I've got a love
Know that I need, I've got a need for love
Whoa

Well just a thought from left field lol.

Why thank you Marv, you`ve made an old man blush. I ONLY listen to 60`s Motown as listening to the Funks makes me happy.

Thank you all, especially mysterysinger. I had checked DFTMC earlier this week and also did not find anything and chalked it up to the Motown voices in my head! Although this track would have suited Wanda's voice for sure :)
