Tina Turner had the crowd at Broadway’s Lunt-Fontanne Theatre on their feet Thursday night, in more ways than one.

Tina stopped by opening night of Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, the new stage show based on her life — surprising the audience with an emotional post-show speech.

Last night was opening night. Reviews were mostly good. Adrienne Warren is sure to be nominated and last night Tina said very nice things about her and the entire cast.

At 79 and retired, Tina looked beautiful, content and happy. Nice to see after recently reading of health problems.
