I share your thoughts on this. But I have seen this picture posted here previously, and I think that it was Marv himself who posted it. If so, he relinquished his privacy to it.

However, the banned poster had other motives to post the picture, which do fall into the category of hitting below the belt.

Most of us have learned to ignore certain posts. This newly banned member said in a previous post that her sole purpose here was to get that member banned. We know that will never happen. Now the banned member knows too



Oh my dear lambs...how wrong you all are. If you read my other posts youÂ’ll know that, while I am no fan of Miss WilsonÂ’s voice, I appreciate her holding onto the legacy. The POINT of my being here [[I have no other aliases) is to finally complete a mission that involves no Supremes but rather a sad little sycophant for one of them who actually does and gets away with saying some awful things [[including death wishes) about another one of the girls. Hopefully, I can finally see to his removal on these forums.

Whilst i am usually the last person to defend Marv i do not think it is right for a member to post a photo of him even if Marv himself has previously posted it.

How weird this is.

You know, some Forum Moderators choose not to ban such posters because they just come back under another name/profile. I suppose this can be uncovered if you track a poster's actual address but those of course can also be manipulated fairly easily.

I hadn't seen the other posts quoted here but there were a few from that poster that I kind of shook my head after reading, though I don't recall why now.

Someone said above that Marv gave up his rights to privacy of the photo because he himself had once posted it. I don't think it's the legality of what the poster did that's the issue. Granted, it may be legal. I think it's the motivation behind doing so and the strangeness of the poster's brief history that makes the whole thing just a little weird.

All... it's someone from the same group that stirred up trouble here a year or so ago and went off and created a trash heap of a website, stole many of our aliases and falsely posted as us. That trash heap is now nothing more than ads for viagra and Russian mail order brides. They come back from time to time just to stir up trouble.

Correct my dear they stole so many of our identitys and posted all kind of vile and disgusting things over in that bad forum. It was real disgusting what they did. Thank the good Lord its stopped.

I do remember that now. I never saw the site and I don’t think I was one of the people whose names were stolen, but I remember hearing about it.

My nephews keeping a real close eye on mine as well thanxal. The low down Bastard[[s) even used a person from this here forum whos passed away. The person who posts a lot in here started that cesspool of a forum and they still real active here.

I’m reading these posts in absolute amazement. I know that trolls exist in social media, but I simply cannot fathom the joy or accomplishment that is achieved by trying to bash a stranger or belittle their views. I find no pleasure in pushing such negativity. What is there to be gained? I am a huge fan of Diana Ross. I am also a fan of many other performers. This brings me joy. I am not bothered or injured if someone doesn’t share my musical interests. There are performers who I do not enjoy and I have spent ZERO time spewing negativity about them on social media. Why? I have no desire to rain on someone else’s parade, I gain NOTHING, and more importantly, who cares!

Despite my issues with Marvin, for the most part, when it comes to music, he's nice when it comes to that regardless of his feelings about Diana and his opinions about MJ and Ike. This thread was so silly smh
