Watching this now made me remember that I have an interview Mary did with Tom Bergeron way back in the 80s that I have on VHS somewhere when he hosted "People Are Talking" in Boston.

With all the publicity Marys new book is getting, it would have been a perfect time for a new cd.............Huge shame.

I'm wondering if it will occur to her to capitalize on the book and DWTS and finally do the long awaited album. This is a high profile gig, probably the highest Mary has had in eons. And if she actually manages to win this thing, who knows what opportunities may come her way.

Mary was always the best dancer in the group. She always came off very natural, where Diana and Flo came off forced and awkward at times. Mary's got this.

I have to "imagine" that someone may be thinking the same thing. She has enough recorded material and could perhaps record some more songs for a new CD.

Thats not gonna happen. Lamar is also a contestant so he and Mary and all of the other guests will pair up with the proffessional dancers they have on the show. Guests never pair up with guests.
