Maybe to tie-in with the movie "Beach Ball", Berry should've had to have the girls in 1965 sing songs from Paramount films [[The former Famous Music catalog now owned by Sony and MJ's estate).

Side 1-

Come to the Beach Ball With Me
It's A Hap Hap Happy Day [[Mary and Florence could share lead for this one during certain lyrics)
Surfer Boy
Swinging On A Star
I'm in the Mood for Love
Moon River
Start the day with a song

I dunno about side B maybe you could help me......

given the music the girls DID record, i've always wondered what other ideas were bounced around. ones that never got further than discussion phase.

i'm not widely familiar with the movie studios. Was Paramount more into musical and all than the others? it might have been a bit too specific to tie solely with Paramount. not sure fans and record buyers would recognize the collective Paramount songs as a "catalog" although they certainly do with Disney.

^ Lol. How about "The Supremes At The Beach!"? They could be in bikinis on the cover. Hopefully, Motown wouldn't have had to use the cover photo they used for the Isley Brothers' This Old Heart of Mine.
