I am a big fan of Bobby Taylor [[and the Vancouvers). He was HUGELY talented and courageous, if you know anything about his life. Thank you Paul and same to you!

It's coming up to the second anniversary of his passing.
I wonder if there is much more of his recordings still in the vaults. I love the unreleased recordings from 1967 & 1968 and Wow love 'People Get Ready' with the Vancouvers.

I've learned that you can almost bet that there are unreleased tracks on Bobby and others. I don't know if I've heard "People Get Ready" yet.

Oh this is so, so good. It easily rivals the original by the Impressions.

Thanks Marv, Bobby Taylor was one of the few Motown artists who could cover Stax material. He really got Soul !.

You're most welcome Phil. Motown had an embarrassment of riches as they say. Mary Wilson and Florence Ballard "discovered" Bobby Taylor & The Vancouvers. They in turn, discovered the Jackson 5/Michael Jackson. Motown had so, so much talent under their roof. Can you imagine if all of it were given the proper attention and promotion? Motown would still be huge today as a viable recording company with some of the young Gordy's involved!
