Fellow posters:
Singer Kem laying down tracks at Hitsville! Article stated legendary producer Paul Riser [[?) was at the helm. Also, said "gleaming laptops replaced mixing console."

Thoughts?

My thoughts are that it would be nice if Studio A was fully operational as a recording studio!

I agree Bradburger. Wouldn't that be great? It would be awesome if they were to record local Detroit talent also.

Update:

Kem will be performing at the rechristened Aretha Franklin Theater in Detroit. Also, he's marrying his fiance in November. And has started work on his memoir with famed music author David Ritz. [[ Mr. Ritz was at the Studio A recording)

Am I the only one who thought, when he dropped his first single, Al Jarreau? The influence was obvious, I thought.
