Here's something that slipped right past us this past Holiday season. Mary Wilson's recording with the Gospel group, Ernie Crouch & Revival. "Go Tell It on the Mountain":

This is great. Mary should sing more gospel!

I agree. She's sang Pop, R&B, Disco, Jazz, Rock, Country [["I Keep It Hid" maybe) and now Gospel. More, more, more!

The arrangement didn't give her much to work with, but it was nice. Have you heard Mary do "Someday We'll Be Together" live? I think the first time I heard her do it [[not counting Motown 25) was on a PBS special and she tore it up. That's when I thought she should do some gospel because that's the vocal spin she gave it.

A lot of talent behind the one that supposedly couldn’t sing! This was great.

she's the one who thought she couldn't sing..in her own words! If you can be de moralized by a nasty harsh jealous world then you aren't cut out to be a front person..a front person takes gruff darts and daggers from all corners, takes it all in stride and still commands the stage.. SPREADIN LUV!

He also got really aggravated when reporter once asked him about that comment. He responded "Look, all of those women could sing or they would not have been in the Supremes to begin with!".
