As reported elsewhere, I am experiencing Sirius FM radio for the first time with a recent new car purchase. Well today I got to hear both Ain't Too Proud to Beg and Heaven Must Have Sent You. Those were already two of my all-time favorite Motown classics but to get to hear them on Sirius was almost a whole new experience. I appreciate the incredible talent of the Motown family more each day!

Soul Town is great, and I also like The Groove for slightly more 'recent' material.

there use to be 2 different Satellite Radio providers, the other was merged into Sirius but before this merge the Soul Station was called Soul Street & was much better then Soul Town. Soul Street was based out of Washington, DC and the Deejays KNEW & loved the music & played a much better variety.Don't know why Sirius ditched Soul Street for Soul Town.

Soul Street was based out of Washington, DC and the Deejays KNEW & loved the music & played a much better variety.Don't know why Sirius ditched Soul Street for Soul Town.I have to agree that Soul Street was superior to Soul Town; much deeper playlist.

Yes I was referring to Soul Town. Recently I heard them counting down the top 40 songs by female artists in the year 1967. I of course only got to hear bits and pieces but Martha had at least two spots with Love Bug and Honey Chile, and the Marvelettes made it with When You're Young and in Love. Of course I would assume that Hunter was in there too but I did not hear it. Certainly some Supremes as well I would imagine.
