Yet another example of how looking for one thing often leads to discovering something special...
I was speaking with my lady on the phone & she had 'Magic man' playing in the background. Me being me, I ask her if she'd ever heard my favorite Robert Winters song, 'When Will My Love Be Right' & decided to cruis over to youtube to play it for her.
On the very first link that I arrived at, a poster named briangsmooth had the song up. Within that link, a poster by the name of briangsmooth mentioned a site, Cooptekproductions, which featured a tribute page for Robert "Budda" Winters.
http://cooptekproductions.com/budda.htm
This site is great, featuring downloadable mp3 clips of Robert doing demos & even a clip of him letting a heckler in the audience have it. We also learn the circumstances of his death in 1989, something that has remained a mystery for many years.
A wonderful find for those of us whom still think of Robert with fondness!
As many of you here may remember, we had a few conversations here with the late, great Ron Murphy who had cut Robert's first 45s back in 1968/69. Here's the link to that thread:

Here, in all its glory, is my much beloved "When Will My Love Be Right"...

I dedicate this thread in the memory of our fallen comrade Ron Murphy!
