If this question has been asked before I apologize for being redundant.

Are there Motown recordings in the can of A&S singing any of the Marvin & Tammi duets? Demos perhaps? If so, might they ever be released?

I suspect there very well could be. How good would it be to hear them?

I have no inside knowledge, but I suspect this is very likely. Valerie sings for Tammi on some of her last cuts. Anyone with ears can hear many of the tracks on the album with The Onion Song is not Tammi and sounds like Valerie.

Didn't they also record in album together for Motown in the early 1970s? I'd love to hear that if it exists and ever gets released. :)

Yes they did. I seem to recall a thread on here about it a few years ago.

It would be amazing, there is an album by Marvin and Valerie in the vaults produced by Ashford and Simpson.

On the "Easy" album I think on the title track and Satisfied feelinŽis Valerie, isnŽt it ?

Sorry but my ears are not worth gold as RanRan79 ;-)

I'm pretty good at figuring out the Andantes, but I wouldn't trust myself with Val and Tammi. Although IMO if you listen to enough known Tammi vocals and then listen to some of those later recordings you really can tell a difference...if you pay close attention. I know some fans still debate it, but it's clear to me that Val was stepping in on some of that stuff.
