Where is this soul lady from the seventies..[something in a look-playing both ends against the middle]is she still performing?

Good question! She was from Jacksonville and even in the early 90s was still making the rounds of local dance clubs
to perform her more disco-inspired music on Columbia.
She had a great early record called "Here I Am", which was leased to the Shout label, before her great stuff on
Atlantic.
