Sad news that legendary drummer HAL BLAINE has passed away aged 90. As a member of the Wrecking Crew he played on many many hits over the years including for Motown. Farewell Hal.

I expect there were many more Motown songs recorded West that he played on and didn't become hits [[album tracks for example). But you just knew it would have to descend into a discussion on Ms Kaye. Hal Blaine deserves his own thread
