The Nick Fury character played by Samuel Jackson even sang a few lines of "Please Mr. Postman". It was great to see the ladies remembered during the Motown 60th Celebrations

Even more significantly it is now the explanation for how the character "Mar-Vell" became known as "Captain MARVEL" in the cinematic MCU. Because of The Marvelettes. I loved that moment.
