This show is great. Season 1 Was about classic old school country music artists and season 2 was dedicated to funk. Mike Judge is very clearly a music fan.

I actually thought it WAS Nelson!That was actually Nelson George. He helped with the production of the series and also appears in several episodes. The people telling the stories are reciting their first-hand recollections from being there at the times that the events occurred or how the events were reported to have happened.
