i've built out an excel sheet capturing as many recording dates and performances. the various Expanded Editions have been a great help, as have random comments, images and data from fans.

so through the years, here are some highlights of what was going on in January

1961
*although the specific dates are not known, DMFB recorded Never Again, Tears of Sorrow [[motown version), Because I Love Him, Too Hot and The Boy That Got Away

1962
1/17/62 - recorded Play A Sad Song

1963
1/8 - recorded He Means The World To Me

1964
1/6 - recorded Penny Pincher
1/10 - 16 performed at the Howard Theater in DC

1965
1/5 - recorded Stop!
more recording - 1/13 did Take Me Where You Go and Remove This Doubt, 1/28 did German vocals for WDOLG and Jonny Und Joe
TV shows include Bill Kennedy Show, Les Crane Show, Hullaballoo [[this might be the air date and not recording date) and performance at Packard Music Hall in Warren OH

1966
Recorded the songs Fancy Passes [[1/11) and Mother Dear [[1/19)
1/1 - appearance in the Orange Bowl Parade
1/15 - Arie Crown Theater in Chicago
1/17 - 29 at the Roostertail
1/31 - El San Juan Hotel in PR
tv shows include Swing Time on 1/22 and Red Skelton on 1/25

1967
*lots of recording for the Disney project
1/11 - Love Is Here is released
*some recording for Sing R&H and Broadway to Hollywood
*tour includes a variety of college dates - 1/6 Clowes Hall @ Butler Univ in Indiana, 1/8 Millikin University [[my alma mater!!) and 1/11 at Indiana Univ
*appearance on Andy Williams

*touring through Europe including Milan, Berlin, Amsterdam, Madrid, Paris, Munich, Cannes and London

1969
*recordings on 1/21 and 24 includes a variety of cover tunes like Everyday People, Western Union Man, Hey Jude, Stormy. also Chained to Yesterday and Witchi-Tai-To
*Ed Sullivan show on 1/5 doing Love Child, I'm Living in Shame
*I'm living in shame released 1/6
*live appearances in Toronton [[1/23) and Ashland, OH [[1/24)

1970
*the big Farewell shows in Vegas
*lots of Jean recording including most of the Right On album [[Ladder, Then we Can try, Wait a minute, just take a closer, Bill, The Loving Country, you move me, i got hurt, then i met you
*a few tunes from New Ways are recorded now including Thank Him, Is There a Place. i Wish i was your mirror and Na Na
*unreleased recordings include Didn't I Blow Your Mind This Time, I Can't Wait Til Summer Comes, I almost had him, wasting time, I'll never let you get away, that's how much you made me love you, three day journey of me [[note - some of these come from Mary's Dreamgirl itinerary so not really sure if they're accurate)
