Can we talk about what a great year 2018 has been for Diana Ross. She had 2 #1 singles on Billboard. With tonight’s NYE performance she will have had 3 high profile TV appearances. Just as important in today’s social media world she has had several social media trending viral moments. Going forward 2019 is shaping up to be just as or even more successful for Diana. It’s already been announced that her Central Park concert will be released in theaters. Now that I think about it- going back, 2016 and 2017 were successful as well. 2016 had President Obama awarding Diana the presidential medal of freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. She also performed a private concert for the president and first lady. In 2017 she was awarded the Lifetime achievement award at the American music awards. She released a fragrance and scored Billboard top 40 album. All during these years she has had a successful residency performing in Las Vegas. Looking Forward to all that 2019 and beyond has to offer for the Queen of Motown.
