I as well! Badu is more 'like' a jazz instrumentalist than a mere vocalist. Tremendous talent. And the performing style is mesmerizing.

Badu live is performance art and she is an incredible vocalist. I've been saying for the longest that she really needs to do a jazz album. Her tone reminds me so much of Billy Holiday. Even Tony Bennett said that Badu reminds him of Billy Holiday. Badu is amazing and in a class by herself.
