Wow, there's so many, but I'll list a few of my favorites.

You can't go wrong with any of the Kudu recordings from Grover Washington Jr.
Mr. Magic
A Secret Place
Live at the Bijou
It Feels So Good

Any CTI recordings
Deodato 1 and 2
Bob James 1,2,3,and 4
Freddie Hubbard - Red Clay and First Flight
Stanley Turrentine - Sugar, Don't Mess With Mr. T.
George Benson - Bad Benson

Return To Forever - Where Have I Known You Before
Return To Forever - No Mystery
Return To Forever - Romantic Warrior

Billy Cobham - Spectrum
Billy Cobham - Crosswind

George Duke - Feel
George Duke - Faces In Reflection
George Duke - I Love the Blues, She Heard My Cry

Herbie Hancock - Headhunters
Herbie Hancock -Thrust
Herbie Hancock - Man child

Tom Browne - Browne Sugar [[his debut recording before "Funkin' For Jamaica")
Roy Ayers - Red,Black and Green
Roy Ayers - A Tear To A Smile
Roy Ayers - Mystic Voyage
Stanley Clarke - Stanley Clarke [[self title recording)
Stanley Clarke - School Days
Stanley Clarke - Journey To Love

I could go on and on, but that's just a start. If you like, check out a old thread of SDF entitled "Contemporary Jazz or Jazz Fusion, Is There A Difference ?" It was based on a show I put together last summer. The MP3 link is no longer available to hear, but we had a great discussion going on. You can also find some YouTube clips that a few members of the forum posted up.

I hope this helps. Continue the journey, and keep this great music alive ! :)

You're welcome, from one DJ to another. :)
The MP3 links are only good for a week. When I post them on the forum, you pretty much have to listen or download it right away.

Who knows, I might do a jazz fusion show later this year.

The first side of Ronnie Foster's "Love Satelite" album from 1978. Stevie Wonder even plays the drums on the track "Happy Song".

Well ..

Anything from ROY AYERS/THE CRUSADERS/LONNIE LISTON SMITH is good for me ..

One that seems to have been missed so far is the collection of "Live" recordings at the Montreux [[ Switzerland ) Jazz Festival in the '80s ..

http://www.amazon.com/Casino-Lights-Live-At-Montreux/dp/B000002KY7

The DAVID SANBORNE track "Love Is Not Enough" is an absolute gem ..

And you get the likes of RANDY CRAWFORD on there too ..
