Aw snap, I forgot about the Claudette situation! Does he own any masters of his recordings or does he just get royalties from being the writer, producer, arranger and singer behind it?

I think we make much more of royalties than is actually there; until the 90’s, they mattered; they don’t much any more. Performing makes the money now
