Just one point, Cindy Birdsong was not ‘a session singer’!

Mahogany. Released in 1975? I would have bet the house I saw it in 1974.
Seems like I'd have lost my house.
I could have sworn I saw it with an ex girlfriend in 1974, but it seems I saw it with another ex girlfriend in 1975.
Wow...disturbing.

Also, the Motown tour was March 1965.
Also, was Florence Ballard really lead singer before 'fame' struck...most of those ' no hit' Supremes feature Diane.

Getting really worried now...I could have sworn I saw " The jazz singer" and " Kramer vs Kramer" with ex [[1974) but these films are 1981 and 1979!
Scary stuff.

Cindy Birdsong was not a session singer and I'm Living In Shame is not underrated. I can't believe much in this article with obvious mistakes like that.

Also it was Clive Davis who got the Academy to nominate "Theme to Mahogany" not Berry Gordy.
