So sorry and sad to report the passing of Funk Brother guitar legend Eddie "Chank" Willis. Eddie had been ailing for many years and is now pain free. I had the privilege of celebrating with Eddie the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and Hollywood Walk of Fame honor. Eddie was so happy and on Cloud 9. Actually slight correction in order from Brian McCollums Free Press report. Original Funk Brother Jack Ashford is still alive [[as well as Joe Messina) and doing well.
