Wonderful to see Nicole and Louvain. Did Mary introduce Nicole?

She gave her a shout out in the audience, but I did not hear where she formally introduced her like she did with Louvain. I guess Louvain was home for the weekend because I believe she no longer lives in Michigan.

. . . and isn't that Nicole's sister, Michelle, in the back, with the red wig?

Thanks for posting the clips Marv! Hopefully she got to spend sometime with the Ballard girls. Was this at Chene Park?

These are amazing clips - how lucky we are to have so many Supremes rocking it in their mid 70’s! Thank you for Sharing!

DET, no, this was Downriver at Trenton which has become a popular summer music destination in Michigan. People come their for the Trenton Jazz Festival every summer now. Monroe Michigan also holds a top notch Jazz Festival each summer over a 3 - 4 day period.

I really enjoyed watching these performances from Mary. I would so liked to have been there but alas. Her voice is still amazing, even after all these years. I wish she had recorded "Imagine" and such like songs as they really are her forte.
I have never really enjoyed her singing 60's Supremes songs much but find her voice far more relaxed when singing them theses days.
I wonder if "her last album will ever see the light of day. It's so very frustrating when you see the amount of dross that is released on cd these days.

I think she's been having label issues and when you're independent, sometimes it's hard to find someone to finish an album and then release it. Honestly she should sign with eOne or Kobalt for distribution and release the album on her label. I think the Holland brothers' label has folded now. But yeah it's sad that she's still having to say that. Hope it works out in the end!

I wonder what a free gig like this pays?

Generally 5k-10k plus air and hotel for bg singers. When she was doing ticketed gigs, it was slightly higher plus a generous percentage above the nut, but, she almost no longer gets those gigs, so, she literally takes what she gets. Even the symphony gigs are a flat fee for her category. I wish she’d play Feinsteins more often as she draws well there, but maybe it’s not profitable for one if the parties. I don’t know what her deal with Martha is, but i’ll Find out.

What? Is there still drama with Martha? I still remember that crazy Tony Turner story [[and I don't know if I believe about 45% of that tale lol).

You don't know about anything you just said. I do know that Mary is very confidential about her performance fees. I also know that she doesn't work cheap!

Those Lena Horne shows barely brought in $2,000 a night for Mary which is why she isnt doing them anymore.
