Very nice to hear from the great Mitch Ryder. I didn't know that he auditioned for both Motown & Thelma Records. Thanks Marv2.

You're welcome Motown Eddie. Now I'd like to know if Bob Seger ever approached Motown or vice versa back in the day.

According to Wikipedia, Motown Records approached Bob Seger to sign with the label but he chose to go with Capitol Records [[as he felt that company would be appropriate for his music than Motown).
