Hello :)

I helped write a book a few months back about the history of music and soul from the perspective of music studios. Because of this I am receiving royalties from sales of the book - I was wondering what kind of income this counts as? I've looked at sites like this tax calculator [[https://www.after-tax.co.uk/) but can't find anything about it. I ask only because I work part time, and so I'm close to going over the personal allowance amount here in the UK which means my income will be taxed. I'm hoping someone here would be able to help me with my question, it would be greatly appreciated :)

Thanks!

Here in the USA we have a separate calculation for royalties; you may want to look that up in your UK info -

Hello Mince, you should ask this on the English site Soul Source, there are plenty of knowledge people there : https://www.soul-source.co.uk/
