PNH, I remember checking out Sarah's version of "Inner City Blues" a while ago, and I loved it! Quite funky as I recall. Now, as I said in the recent Ella Fitzgerald thread, most of Sarah's stuff might be too early and jazzy for me, but this... I can dig, as RanRan would say... :p

Try some of her later stuff Tom, and then perhaps cautiously dip into her earlier stuff. I think you will find some stuff to your liking.
