Ok - this is sort of a continuation from the 19 90s Diana thread.

As we know there have been zillions of Diana/Sup greatest hits packages that contain all of the top charting songs. Although it sparked some debate amongst fans, the RCA Greatest Hits collection contained most of the biggest hits but then skipped some others in favor of strong album tracks. So it's more of a best of collection.

So if you were to create a Best of Diana Ross collection and it can contain a MAXIMUM of 20 songs, what would you include? feel free to use Sups, solos, duets, album tracks, remixes, etc.

Ain't no Mountain - full version
Surrender - extended stereo version off of Surrender Expanded Edition
The Boss - full 12" mix
Upside Down - original released version
You Can't Hurry Love - #1 version with the more prominent background vocals
All The Befores
Dark Side of the World
You Are Everything - with Marvin Gaye
Blue Room - from Sing Rogers & Hart
What a difference a day makes - Blue
Last Time I Saw Him - unedited version from Anthology
Gettin' Ready for Love - 2014 mix from Expanded Edition
Reflections
This Old Heart of Mine - from A Go Go
It's My Turn
Just Say, Just Say - with Marvin Gaye
But Beautiful - Blue
Someday We'll Be Together - version with the tambourine intro
My Man - live version from Caesar's Palace
I Hear A Symphony

I won't include Supremes songs on a Diana list, unless it's a cut where the Supremes were replaced with session singers. I doubt if anything RCA or Motown Pt.2 will make the list, but I'm curious what I might come up with. So here goes, in no particular order [[probably by album mostly though)...

1) Aint No Mountain High Enough
2) Call Me
3) Close to You
4) Surrender
5) Remember Me
6) And If You See Him
7) A Simple Thing Like Cry
8) Good Morning Heartache
9) Touch Me In the Morning
10) Brown Baby/Save the Children
11) I Heard a Love Song
12) Love Hangover
13) I Thought It Took a Little Time
14) You Were the One
15) The Boss
16) No One Gets the Prize
17) Endless Love
18) Mirror, Mirror
19) Swept Away
20) Someday We'll Be Together

hahaha all part of my plot to annoy you hehehe

actually I just went off that previous post listing 19. rounded up to 20. Now if I was creating a Diana playlist, sure I'd have zillions of songs in it because she had tons of good material. but wanted to make everyone focus in on the truly top songs. and didn't want people to just rehash the biggest singles. she's done incredible album tracks too

I just remembered a couple more - I might need to go over my 20 limit! lol

After you - love this one
Cupid
The Music That Makes Me Dance
Fats Waller medley from Sullivan
Good Morning Heartache
We Need You
