Today a song came into my head. God knows how that happened, as I haven't heard the song since the early 80's, maybe even the late 70's.

I think the song may have been titled Who Do You Love?. The lyrics of the chorus went something along the lines of "Who do you love? Who do you need? Who do you love? Is it him or is it me?".

I'm pretty sure I have the record somewhere in my collection. I know there will be a few of you who know this track, and any help would be appreciated.

Cosmic Truth, someone else may answer differently, and post a clip, but have you tried The Intruders?

They made a recording with that title?

You're welcome. I was simply first to respond.

For every SDF member who makes a response, there are many more on here watching and thinking to do exactly the same....:)

From the time frame, I'd think it was Bernard Wright.

I am going to take a guess that this is the song he is trying to remember by KC and the Sunshine Band that came out in 1978:

By the way, how many "Who Do You Love" songs are there anyway? There are at least five that we didn't even mention.

The Intruders one was the only one I could think of, and I couldn't even remember who sang it!

As to "Who Do You Love" songs, that's a good question. For starters, there's the Bo Diddley song, covered by [[it seems like) almost every living rock act from Ronnie Hawkins to Johnny Winter, including the Michigan hit by Lansing's The Woolies.

Ferndale High School, 1966, now living in North Central Washington.....the state. Been here 40 years. Would that make me a Washagander? Throw in my time in Colorado, you'd have a Colowashagander. Or maybe not.

As to "Who Do You Love", the Bo Diddley version, secondhandsongs.com says it's been covered at least 57 times. And I thought "Hey Joe" was the most covered rock song in history....

[[For what it's worth, someone DID document the versions of "Hey Joe"....over 1800)
