Mysterysinger, thanks for the heads-up on this forthcoming release. Do you know if there are any others or is this just a "one-off"?

I'm sure you are probably aware this album was released along with a number of other early Diana Ross solo albums on SHM-CD mini-lp format by Universal Japan back in 2012. The good news is that they are still available to purchase for comparatively reasonable prices on Ebay.

If it helps the catalogue nos. are:

"Surrender" - UICY-75383.

Hi MJ yes there are a few Diana Ross [[as well as many DRATS studio albums) titles available from Culture Factory already on CD - e.g. "Ross", "The Boss", "An Evening With Diana Ross" plus vinyl issues such as - "Diana" [[1980) on coloured vinyl. They've also done some Four Tops, Temptations, Rare Earth, Stevie Wonder and even Tammi Terrell's "Irresistible" on mini-LP CD. Here's a link to "Ross" for example -

I like the Culture Factory releases as they're a bit cheaper than the Japanese ones [[although I've collected all those too - 10 each of Ross & DRATS I think). CF also have the inner LP sleeves usually and the CD looks quite record like complete with Motown or other label. I expect they'll issue all the Diana Ross titles including some not available on Japanese issue.
