For those of you who remember The Four Winds, Brooks Four and The Epitome of Sound of the 1960s, the common denominator was Robert Paladino a US singer, musician, songwriter and producer. Well, he has just released a track called 'Cause my lover's gone', performed by UK singer Johnny Boy. The official digital release date was 1st March 2018 and at some stage it is hoped for a 45rpm vinyl with a song both Johnny and myself co wrote called 'You ain't changed'. Vocals are to complete on that, so some time before the digital is available. However, if you wish to hear CMLG go to the following review where you can hear the song in full. It is available for download and streaming in all the usual places. If you like 60s, beach music, bubblegum, Detroit, popcorn, soul, you may like this. The vocals were recorded at Lisa Stansfield's studio in Rochdale, England.

And why you ask, is this song relevant to soulfuldetroit? Well, it isn't really, but I was one of the contributors to the Darrell Banks project years ago, having being to his grave with Harry and David back in 2003. Also one of the contributors was Johnny Warren from Australia who collected funds from soul fans over there:-) If you are not familiar with the story:
