Just found this on ebay:

I have strong doubts, that this is a legitimate release. I guess, "european release" means east-european....

i cant find any mention of a power cd,except a bunch of cd-r's for sale with the lp?
i dont remember ever seeing one either

it does look good tho' bar code and everything.i've got an old uk motown cd brochure i'll check it tomorrow its midnight!need some zzz's!

i checked the catalogues and there is no mention of a power cd.i'll make some enquiries!

the guy that has this cd says the photo looks as good as the one he has,hope that helps

Thanks for the research. But I will not buy it since I feel this is a boot. I know there were Motown releases in France that are quite rare now but this one looks to obscure to me.

i think they both look good.if someone wanted to copy this,why would they add a 2nd copywrite date 2001 aswell as the original 1980 that is on the lp.i think this is a kosher cd.

the 2nd copyright make me even more suspicious.

According to Wikipedida, Polygram didnīt exist anymore in 2001.

"In 1999, Philips sold PolyGram to Seagram and it was merged into Universal Music Group."
