Always loved this song. It could have been a smash as could the duet with Dionne "it's you".

Great Song! For me, Stevie's "Love Light In Flight" is the highlight of The Woman In Red Soundtrack LP [[it was a hit at #1 R&B & #17 Pop according to Billboard and still receives a lot of airplay).

Its pop placement should've been higher. Then again, Stevie was just coming off I Just Called to Say I Love You, that was a hard song to top commercially.

Yes it was! I liked most of Stevie's recordings in the 80s.
