Brother Marvin was bold for releasing a song with that title...

Definitely in my top 5 of all time favorite songs of all time by any artist. SING IT MARVIN!

Yeah, especially considering the fact that he didn't like the song when Ed Townsend first sang it to him.He told Ed he'd never felt that way about a woman in his life. The song was based on what was said to a woman that he was having an affair with at one time.Although Marvin loved the story he didn't relate to the message enough to interpret the lyrics.Once Marvin had fallen head over heels in love with Jan he said "Ed, get that tape.I can sing that Son Of A B***h now !".

I know. If you hear the demo, you can tell he wasn't into it. Love can bring that emotion out of you!

Definitely one of his finest vocal moments. So much passion. So much emotion. I've played the hell out of this.

I noticed that. He said he's not in the mood.
