One to watch maybe - perhaps the first of many new Japanese mini-LP releases? One can hope.

Just a note of caution - this seems to be on a budget label.

It's not a budget label, it's a bootleg label. They reissue recordings that are outside the 50 year copyright law in Japan. Note how they change the original graphic design. I think the graphics aren't out of copyright, so they have to tweak them.

I bought their Irma Thomas CD, which they advertised as Mono but apart from the tracks that were only ever mono, the bootleggers simply folded down the stereo mixes to dupe unsuspecting customers that these were true mono mixes from the 1960s.

Shame - they do appear to be very prolific in their bootlegging. Hopes frustrated in that case. At least it's a good warning to the unsuspecting.

No doubt this is taken from the 1980's mastering, which in my opinion sucked the life out of the original recording. It's got to be the worst 're-mastering of any '60's Motown album...ever.
Hopefully one day Universal will issue this officially, with a sound quality that matches the out-take tracks from the Lost & Found CD.
