This dance segment from the movie, "Stormy Weather", was edited using the Contours "First I Look at the Purse" and has most likely been shared and seen by most of us. A Facebook friend of mine posted the original clip of the FANTASTIC Nicholas Brothers dancing to what Frank Sinatra said was "the greatest dance number ever filmed." Brings a big smile to me this morning.

That was some sharp editing along with some very sharp dancing! Thanks Jobucats.

Not sure which one it was, however, one of the Nicholas Brothers played the role of Cholly Atkins [[sp) in that TV version movie of "The Temptations." [[NOTE: In a later post/reply of mine, I have corrected that statement thanks to lockhartguy!)

The actor who played Cholly Atkins in the Temptations movie was named Russell Clark.

Woops! There goes my old brain again. "Hey. Lurlean, you better call that number we talked about!" You're so right, lockhartgary! I was thinking of the choreographer [[played by one of the Nicholas brothers) who helped out the Five Heartbeats in that "The Five Heartbeats" movie which, in my humble opinion, had some similarities to the Temptations story and movie, especially the segment where they were learning their dance steps.
