What a shame.

One of the true music greats, who contributed so much.

Thanks Rick Hall for a great body of work and for keeping Candi Staton involved in music so that David Crawford could one day get his hands on her .

About a decade into his operation, four of his top guys left to form a competing studio: Muscle Shoals Sound Studios. Lots of bad blood, but they ended up making each other stronger and establishing that area as a recording destination. They made peace a short time later, united in their love for the area and the amazing music they produced.
