Hi all, I'm wondering about the new-ish album of re-recorded Jimmy Ruffin songs...
I've seen several different versions of the album on iTunes and Amazon... namely There Will Never Be Another You, The Essential Jimmy Ruffin and The Soul Sound Of Jimmy Ruffin... all with different covers and track listings but featuring the same, re-recorded songs. Anyone know which is the actual or proper release? I find this muchos confusing, lol
Also, I can't any information on the album! Anyone know when it was recorded? Jimmy sounds in excellent voice IMO, especially considering how recent it is...?
I'm listening to samples on iTunes and am enjoying hearing new versions of some Jimmy Ruffin classics. I guess Jimmy must have decided which songs to redo as well.
