Actor Evan Ross was in Atlanta yesterday for a series of press opps for his upcoming film Mooz-lum which hits theaters Friday, Feb. 11.

The son of Diana Ross and brother to actress Tracee Ellis Ross taped an episode of the ‘Monique Show' and stopped by Hot 107.9 for an interview before greeting fans at Clark Atlanta University.

Ross signed autographs and gave fans a private film screening for the movie that features him playing the role of “Tariq,” a young man trying to ‘find himself' in the midst of his father's strict Muslim principles and the events of 9/11.

Nia Long and Danny Glover also star in the film.

Excellent line Tony; that was good. I would have changed it to "Ballard and Wilson, Gordy and HDH" but it would have lost a bit of it's effect. I wish I could think that Ballard or Wilson saw that they had a lightning bolt in their midst in 1961 but I don't know if anyone other than Berry Gordy saw that.

It's going to be interesting watching Evan Ross because very few children of the famous are successful. More often they are lazy partiers who live off the parents. Evan appears to have talent and works at it and has the looks to charm everyone.
