Is this series solely devoted to new mixes of classic tracks? I'd love to have a digital copy of Morales' 8min+ remix of Jocelyn Brown's "Somebody Else's Guy" sourced from the master. Every version of this mix I've heard on CD has some form of audio distortion in the intro. The mix was done for the UK release of the track on 4th & Broadway, so there must be a master quality copy somewhere, most likely in the UK.

Yep, John Morales created brand new mixes using the original multitrack stems [[and the occasional new overdub, tastefully done and that doesn't detract from the classic feel). This 4th set is by far his most ambitious and definitely his best yet. John does some pretty epic mixes. All but a handful of mixes on these CDs are over the 9 minute mark, some stretching beyond 10 and even 11 minutes long. But they're not boring by any means.

Diana got a couple of tracks here [[Tenderness and No One Gets The Prize, in a massive 10 1/2 minute disco mix). Not to mention surprises like Tata Vega's "Just Keep Thinking About You Baby"

My favourites on this set are a couple of the non-Motown tracks. His remix of Donna Summer's "Heaven Knows" and Cher's "Take Me Home" are the ones that I've been unable to stop listening to. They are utterly fantastic. One would be crazy not to purchase this set. It's absolutely well worth it. I give mad props to John for treating the original source with such love and respect. One of the most essential releases of the year, I think.

It's also available for purchase directly from BBE's website. The release date there was Dec. 1, but they were shipping them off a week earlier. I just got the set on Friday.

You got it, folks. Daviddh, I, too, checked U.S. iTunes with no success. Many of the vocal elements are new to me, so I’m sold. I don’t invest in remixes otherwise as a rule.
