the word that seems most repeated to describe Diana's attire is "crinkly".

I'd comment that rather than fitted into precise "fashion" , she's simply gathered into assorted bundlings of "fabric" .

Looks like she lost her weight pretty damn quick.

The headpiece is saying "this is my indoor, remember my hair blowing in central park?" look...only kidding...very unusual design and probably a big surprise to
many on such a night....she wasn't going for safe here.

I actually like it a lot...its different and it has character. It also looks like its pinned in the lower portion to let out to a much fuller bottom.

The hat looks like it was redone from one of her earlier creations at an opening a few years ago. Diana is not afraid to create and step out. Tracey seems to have that same drive. It kind of makes me think what Mahogany would wear in 2017.

I like the look. Pretty sure though that sitting down in that outfit would be very uncomfortable, so that's why she was dressed differently when the camera panned on her in the audience. Then a whole new look for her performance. Must bd a heck of a lot of changing rooms backstage! LOL!

I think this is an awful look. That hat really throws it over the edge. What are those on top? Crows? Black dandelions? It also flattens/smashes down her hair. I get the whole wanting to try a "daring" look, but on a night honoring your career? The spotlight is on you the whole evening. Don't show up on the red carpet wearing something that will end up on the worst dressed list.

Not my favorite outfit, but on most of the tvshows the next day, she didn't make any of the worse-dressed lists. Some thought her choice was interesting, but basically said she is old enough to do as she wishes.

Yikes...that choice was hideous indeed. Usually she goes for old Hollywood style glamor. What was she thinking?

It reminds me a little of Cher's outfit that she wore to the Oscars once, and I think she wore something similar when she won the Oscar. But I think Cher can pull off "bizarre" better than can Diane.

Diane looks fantastic though. The weight loss is very noticeable.
